Brent E. Stayton

BRENT E. STAYTON, 48, of Red Bud, Illinois, was welcomed into the gates of heaven by his Heavenly Father at 5:08 pm, Monday, May 5, 2008 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois. He courageously fought cancer for over two years and he never lost his spirit or faith.

He was born to Dean and Helen (nee Mayes) Stayton on December 18, 1959 in Carlinville, Illinois. Brent was born and raised on the family farm. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in 1981.

He married his high school sweetheart Lois Jeanne Olroyd on October 3, 1981 in Carlinville, Illinois and then moved to Red Bud, Illinois.

Brent was a dedicated assistant regional vice president for Farm Credit Services and worked for them for over 26 years. He had worked in the offices in Belleville, Waterloo, Sparta and Red Bud. He considered his Farm Credit clients as family.

He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Red Bud and loved his church family.

Brent was a man who was strong in his faith and lived his life accordingly. He had a big heart and loved people. He was a farm boy at heart with a love for and talent in every sport. Brent lived his life to the fullest keeping a positive outlook all the way through. He has influenced many lives and touched many hearts. He was a fighter until the end and

will be greatly missed, but the world is a better place for having him here for 48 years. Funeral Information
