Dale Smith
78, of Scottville, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 17th, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born on April 23, 1933 in Scottville, llinois, the son of the late Walt and Flossie (Cherry) Smith. His soul mate of 34 years, Donna Bridges, preceded him in death on August 24, 2009.
Dale was a carpenter and large equipment operator for Stone Farms in the Waverly area for many years. He and Donna loved gardening and traveling together. They also remodeled houses and refurbished antique tractors.

Visitation: Tuesday, September 20, 2011, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. in Girard.
Services:Tuesday, 12:00 PM, September 20, 2011 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. Pastor Raymond Watkins will officiate.
Pallbearers for Dale will be Paul Bridges, Sr., Paul Bridges Jr., Walter Smith, J.D. Smith, Jeremiah Newby, and C.C. Grinkey.
Burial: Panther Creek Cemetery in rural Scottville. Donations Information
