Alice Joanne Rosentreter 88, of Carlinville, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Carlinville Area Hospital. She was born Saturday, June 24, 1922 in Hornsby, Illinois, the Daughter of the late William S. and the late Viola Lucille (Mitchell) Boehm. She married Elmer A. Rosentreter in Carlinville, Illinois on February 18, 1941. He preceded her on July 6, 2006. She was a homemaker.She was a member of Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville. Survivors: Daughter, Doris Reid (Dr. James) of Greenfield, Illinois, Daughter, Mary Hammann (Jim) of Decatur, Illinois, Son, Roger Rosentreter (Kristy) of Carlinville, Son, Robert Rosentreter (Michelle) of St. Louis, Missouri, Son, Peter J. "P.J." Rosentreter (Melanie) of Carlinville, 19 Grandchildren, 33 Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Lola Marx of Litchfield, Illinois, Several Niece and Nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer A., grandson, Blake Rosentreter, brothers, John S. and Mitchell Boehm, and sister, Viola Lee. Funeral Information Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 15 at Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville. There will be a Prayer Service at 3:30 P.M. Funeral Mass: 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Angel Sierra will officiate. Pallbearers will be Roger, Robert, P.J., and Ryan Rosentreter, Dr. James Reid, and Jim Hammann. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam, Jay, Dane, and Noah Rosentreter. Burial: New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville. Donations Information Memorials may be made to Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church - Building Fund.
