John Herman "Jack" Rosentreter
age 73, of Carlinville, IL passed away, Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Heritage Manor. Jack was born November 12, 1934 in Plainview, IL. son of the late William L. and Mary I. (Rhoads) Rosentreter. Jack married Mary Jane Crouch in 1954 and they later divorced in 1984. On March 16, 1985, Jack married Juanita Neal at his parent's home in Carlinville. Jack has been an air-conditioning technician for Dick Shirley dealership in Carlinville and farmed in Polk Twsp. He later owned and operated The Wagon Wheel in rural Carlinville until his retirement in 1986. Jack loved to golf and water-ski. He was a past member of the Gillespie Country Club and a member of the Class of 1952 at Carlinville High School. He also was a member of the Plainview Baptist Church.

Daughters: Shelly Waskow (Kevin) of Carlinville, IL and Sandy Stewart (Dennis) of Litchfield, IL.
Step-Children: Iven L. Gwinn (Yvonne) of Carlinville, IL, Connie Kay Cole (Boyd) of Jackson Mississippi, Gary W. Gwinn (Eileen) of Carlinville, IL., and Kenneth L. Kohart (Companion: Theresa Morris) of Blackrock, AR.
