Pauline Virginia Rosentreter 81, of Nokomis, formerly of Carlinville , passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Nokomis Rehab Center. She was born Tuesday, June 25, 1929 in Carlinville, IL, the Daughter of William Chris and Bessie Mae (Greenwalt) Eichen. She married Alvin Rosentreter in Plainview, IL on September 5, 1948 and he passed away Aug. 30, 1987. Pauline graduated from Carlinville High School in 1946. Pauline retired from Carlinville Area Hospital as a floor nurse. She was a member of the Westside Christian Church in Springfield and 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Plainview Chapter #665. Survivors: daughter, Linda Bertetto of Tarpon Springs, FL, son, Patrick Rosentreter of Wheaton, MO, son, Victor Rosentreter of Robards, KY, daughter, Loretta Saathoff of Hillsboro, IL, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brother, William Thomas Eichen of Carlinville, IL, sister, Dorothy Mae Bristow of Carlinville, IL, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, son, Michael Rosentreter, brother, Raymond Eichen and sister Mary Rose Graham. Funeral Information Visitation: 10:00-11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes in Carlinville, IL with Eastern Star Rites at 9:45 A.M. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes with Dylan Thomas officiating . Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Steve Myers, Mark Myers, Johnny Cox Jr., Tyler Cox, Shane Rosentreter and Austin Rosentreter, Ricky Vanderpool and Alex Vanderpool. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
