Obituary of William Rigsbey

William A. "Bill" Rigsbey 73, of Chesterfield, passed away Thursday evening, February 14, 2013 at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville, IL. Bill was born on December 10, 1939 to Floyd and Nellie (Alward) Rigsbey in Chesterfield, IL. He attended Chesterfield and Carlinville schools in his youth. Bill married Connie Griffith and she preceded him in death while living in Kentucky. He later married Linda L. Perrine on September 2, 1995 in Carlinville and she survives. Bill was a diesel mechanic in the Chicago area for several years before moving to Kentucky. After moving, he worked and retired from RP Lumber in Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing and raised quail and pheasants in his spare time. Bill is survived by his wife, Linda; 2 daughters, Connie Oden (John) and Barbara Huskey (Robert); son, Randy Witworth (Jo); 2 step sons, Jassen Stinnett (Kim) and Derrick Stinnett (Brandi); 5 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Joe Rigsbey (Jane) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Nellie Rigsbey and wife, Connie Griffith. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Sunday on February 17, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Chesterfield, IL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral home in Chesterfield with Rev. Robert Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Chesterfield Cemetery.
