Dorothy Pitchford, age 71 died at 6:37 A.M. at her residence in Girard. She was formerly of Waggoner, IL. Dorothy was born May 6, 1936 in Gillespie, IL. She was one of 9 children born to the late John Walter and Rosella (Lamb) Hughes.
She retired from the State of Illinois in 2000 as an Administrative Secretary.
Dorothy enjoyed being a part of the Waggoner Centennial Players and graduated from Gillespie High School in 1954.

Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 Thursday March 27, 2008 at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL.
Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 28, 2008 at Davis-Anderson. Rev. Rex Crossland will officiate.
