Bud Phipps Jr.
73, of Delavan, formerly of Carlinville, died Saturday morning, September 12, 2009 in Delavan.
He was born Sunday, March 15, 1936 in Carlinville, IL, the Son of the late Elmer William and Florence( Fisk) Phipps Sr.
Bud was employeed for 21 years by the I. Bork & Son Scrap Yard in Peoria. He worked in the metal department as a purchaser. He later moved to California and worked for for the railroad and in construction for 23 years.
Survivors: Daughter, Tonya Ann Bomhold (Bill) of Canton, Ohio, Son, Elmer W. Phipps III (Shellie) of Delavan, Illinois, Son, William Wayne Phipps (Jessica) of Ditner, Missouri, Son, James Patrick Phipps (Freddie Mae) of Peoria, Illinois, 8 Grandchildren, 1Great Grandson, Sister, Theresa Levi of Peoria, Illinois, Brother, Joe E. Phipps of St. Louis, Missouri, Sister, Linda Williamson of Mapleton, Illinois, Sister, Anita Marie Rice of Carlinville, Illinois, Brother, James Daniel Fisk of Oblong, Illinois, Sister, Birdie Elizabeth Fisk of Mapleton, Illinois, Sister, Sherrie Ballew of Pekin, Illinois and several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by Son; Elmer W. Phipps Jr., Sisters, Lillian Duncan; Virginia Bolino; and Ann Carcuff, Brother; Richard Eugene Fisk. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held from Noon to 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 15 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL.
Funeral services will folllow at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery Donations Information
