Obituary of Donna Otken

Donna Marie Otken 51, of Carlinville, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 12, 2012 at her residence in Carlinville. Donna was born on March 14, 1961 to Frank J.R. and Alene (Coop) Otken Eyer in Springfield, IL. She was a 1979 graduate of Virden High School. Donna was a CNA and worked for several of the area nursing homes. She loved to crochet, read and watch movies. Donna is survived by her mother, Alene Otken Eyer of Carlinville; 5 brothers, Dana Otken of CA, Kenneth Otken of TX, Alvin Otken (Katherine) of MO, Gary Otken (Carla) of Virden, IL and Philip M. Otken of MS; 2 sisters, Julie Jones of Carlinville and Brenda Greenwood of MS, as well as several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Frank J.R. Otken and two brothers, Terry Otken in 1998 and David W. Otken in 2005. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville with Rev. Don Harrison officiating.
