N. Christine Morrison
age 87, of Carlinville, formerly of Homer, IL died, Thursday, January 8, 2009 at her residence. Christine was born October 9, 1921 in Douglas County, IL. She is the daughter of the late Emil and Thelma (Browning) Wiese.
Christine worked as a registered nurse at Burnham City Hospital in Champaign. She raised her family and returned to nursing at Mercy Hospital in Champaign,IL. Christine later worked at Champaign County Public Health Care Department. as a TB nurse until retirement in 1980.
Christine is a member of the Homer United Methodist Church and was active in the womens and youth groups. She served as a 4-H leader and Cub Scout Den Mother. Early in life she was active in the Champaign County Home Bureau.
