Our deepest sympathy is with Maxine's family. She was one of my best friends in school. I could always count on Maxine. I will never forget her smile and the talks we would have when we stayed over night at each others home. Maxine had a smile that would win over your heart immediately no matter what the circumstance. Wonderful fond memories, and I know we'll meet again.

Prayers go out to all of the family. Maxine was a great lady and will be missed very much. She always had a smile and had time to say hello. She was also an awesome cook!
I have know Maxine since I was a little girl . What a beautiful, sweet, kindhearted lady then and forever! I was always amazed at her ability to NOT age. Always so happy, smiling and soft spoken. Wonderful Mom and Grandmother. I pray for the family's strength at this time and in the days ahead
We are so sorry for the loss of Aunt Maxine. I remember my first Thanksgiving with Jerry's family was at her house. Jerry came in the door with me and deserted me in the kitchen with a group of women I didn't know. Aunt Maxine made me feel welcome and included me as family right off. I always enjoyed our Thanksgivings there. A month after we lost Anne, my girls threw us a surprise 25th anniversary party. On entering the room I felt awkward (again!) as I don't like to be the center of attention. Aunt Maxine immediately stood up and walked over to hug me and made it okay. :)She just knew I was uncomfortable and fixed it! I just wanted to share a few of my memories. I loved Aunt Maxine and love Uncle Frank and the family.
We are so sorry to hear of Maxine's passing. Reserved and personable with a warm smile she was STYLISH as noted in the 1956 "the Carlin-Hi" next to her graduation picture. She will be truly missed by so many, especially her classmates.
Frank and Family,
Norm and I would like to express our sympathy to your family, Maxine has been a friend and classmate for over 60 years and she will be missed at our reunions. I would also like to express the sympathy of the CCHS Class of 56. I know how hard she fought this terrible disease but she is no longer in pain and awaits her loved ones to join her.
