Mary Sophia Mayster
103 of Carlinville, formerly of Madison, IL passed away Thursday morning, September 11, 2014 at Friendship Home in Carlinville.
Mary was born on November 13, 1910 to Stephen and Anna (Novak) Skender in East Saint Louis, IL. She graduated from Madison High School and on January 17, 1942 she married Ronald A. Mayster in Detroit, MI.
Mary was a homemaker and a retired secretary and bookkeeper for a loan office. She was a volunteer "Pink Lady" at the hospital in Wheat Ridge.
Mary is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Mary Ann (Staikoff) Bumgarden of Livingston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 sister and a brother. Funeral Information
Burial will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado next to her husband.
