Obituary of Theola Ilene Maguire

Theola Ilene Maguire 91, of Carlinville, passed away Sunday evening October 9, 2011at the Friendship Home in Carlinville. Ilene was born in Palmyra, IL, the daughter of Walter T. and Sadie (Cander) Best. Ilene married Louis Maguire on April 9, 1939 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2005. Ilene worked for Taylor's Chili Parlor in Carlinville for 25 years as a waitress, retiring in 1982. She loved to crochet and cook, as well as, spend time with her children and grandchildren. Ilene is survived by two daughters, Norma Little (Robert E.) and Shirley Schmedeke (Loren) both of Carlinville; grandson, Brad Little (Tara), granddaughter, Michelle Morris (Mark), grandson, Brian Little, grandson, Jason Little (Georgiana), granddaughter, Kim Schemedke, grandson, Darren Schmedeke (Lisa); 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Clem Best. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am, October 12, 2011 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Rhodus officiating. Burial will follow at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville.
