George E. Madiar
of Virden, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015.
He was born in Virden, IL on June 13, 1927; the son of John and Mary Madiar.
George is survived by his wife, Alice of Virden; daughters, Debbie Zaverl of Whitewater, WI and Marianne Kasprzyk of Virden; one son, Bill Federle of Elsiah, IL; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving; sister, Anna Dixon of Chatham, IL; brother Jim Madiar of Converse, LA.
George cherished his family and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and was a die-hard Cub fan. Funeral Information
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Girard, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church.
Burial will follow in Virden Cemetery. Donations Information
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Prairieland Ambulance or Girard Fire and Rescue Squad. Directions
