Obituary of Perry Lynn Loveless

Perry L. Loveless 93, of Carlinville, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. He was born Monday, April 22, 1918 in Litchfield, Illinois, the Son of Truman and Maude (Alfrey) Loveless. He married Marie M. McWilliams in St. Louis, Missouri on August 23, 1941. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2006. Perry was a 1936 graduate of Carlinville High School. He was a member of Carlinville United Methodist Church. Perry owned and operated the Lincoln-Mercury Auto Sales in Carlinville. Survivors: Daughter, Geanne Loveless of Buck Hill Falls, Pennsylvania, Brother, Sam Loveless (Mary) of Carlinville, Illinois, 4 Nephews, Mark (Patty), Stephen, Glenn, and Mike Loveless. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marie, and three brothers, Roy, Paul, and Raymond Loveless. Funeral Information Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 28 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. The funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 P.M., at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Taylor, pastor of the Carlinville United Methodist Church, officiating.
