Obituary of Bernice Marie Love

Bernice Marie Love, 77, of Carlinville, died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Carlinville Area Hospital. She was born Saturday, July 23, 1932 in Modesto, Illinois, the Daughter of the late Alfred Ray Hart and the late Bertha Lee (Snowden) Hart. She married Raymond Wayne "Jack" Love in Bowling Green, Missouri on July 3, 1948. Bernice worked at the Carlinville Glove Factory, and later was a nurses aid for the Carlinville Area Hospital and Hospice. Most important to her, she was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and Carlinville VFW Auxiliary. She loved cooking and baking. Survivors: Husband, Raymond Wayne "Jack" Love, Daughter, Jodie Langheim (John) of Chatham, 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Thelma Hankins of Virden, Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by Son: Raymond Randall Love, Grandson: Troy Langheim, and Sister: LaVern Lamb. Funeral Information Visitation: 9:00 to 11:30 A.M., Thursday, August 6 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Services: 12:00 Noon, Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. Rev. Bax Maggart will officiate. Entombment: Mausoleum of Valor at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville.
