Condolences
I think I first met Lucille through Macoupin County 4-H and the former "Home Bureau" organization. I don't think she ever met a stranger, and always had a smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed by so very many people. We extend our sympathies to your families. Nancy Schien
Your mother and grandmother will greatly missed. Her small and warmth filled any room. I enjoying the Atwater items while I have been away from the area. Mom will miss her long time friend and neighbor. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of loss.
Lucille was one of the most loving people I've known. Her smile and humor was like no other. The memories we have of growing up with Lucille in our lives are many. The cards and letters that we loved to receive (but took a day to make it through the writing), the amount of food she prepared at any meal, and her own way of turning anything into a positive. In the coming days and weeks we'll fall back on those memories and draw comfort from all we remember of Lucille. She was one of those old souls that we thought would be with us forever. She sure tried her hardest! She loved everyone and expressed that everyday. Our prayers are with her family during this time. She will definitely be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. I always enjoyed reading the Atwater news especially when I was away at college. Lucille was a sweet woman.
The small time we spend on earth, prepares us for the eternity we will spend with our loving GOD.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
