Obituary of Beulah B. Laurie

Beulah B. Laurie 90, of Atwater, passed away Thursday evening, June 28, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. Beulah was born on November 14, 1921 to Fred and Alma (Clark) Steward in Atwater, IL. She married Robert R. Laurie on August 30, 1943 in Carlinville. Bob preceded her in death on September 7, 1997. Beulah was a homemaker, raising 2 children. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, Post 115 in Girard and loved sewing, gardening and fishing. She and her husband Bob were married for 54 years. Beulah is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Sue Daggett (Jon) and Sandra Lou Stoecker (Tom) both of Atwater; 3 grandchildren, Bryon Daggett and Aaron & Brent Stoecker; great-grandson, Ryon Daggett, as well as several nieces and nephews. Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Bob; parents, Fred and Alma; brothers, Louis and Ronnie Steward and a sister, Dorothy Whitley. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.John Curtis officiating. Burial will take place in Bethel Ridge Cemetery, Atwater, IL.
