Emma Sophia Kulenkamp
Emma Sophia Kulenkamp, 88, of Irving, formerly of Shipman, Illinois, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at her residence.
She was born November 15, 1920 in Chatham, Illinois, the Daughter of the late Emil Schroll and the late Louisa Wilcoxson Schroll. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Evan Leefers, Sr., and Kenneth Kulenkamp. She was Homemaker.
Emma was a member of the Shipman Methodist Church, where she was in the Womens Society. She was a member of Royal Neighbors, enjoyed gardening, and helping others. She also enjoyed word search puzzles.
Survivors: Daughters, Clara Kiser (Ron) of Murphysboro, IL, Peggy Yudinsky (Bill) of Carlinville,, Ruth Lambert (Wayne) of Nilwood, and Dorothy Noah (Virgil) of Alton, IL. Step-Daughter, Doris Summers (Frank) of Springfield, Step-Sons, Bill Kulenkamp (Linda) of Carlinville, and John Kulenkamp (Susan) of Morrisville, NC, 7 Grandchildren, 23 Step-Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, Several Step-Greatgrandchildren, Several Great-Greatgrandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.
Besides her husbands,she was preceded in death by her step-children: Marge Bormida, Evan Leefers, Jr., Robert Leefers and David Kulenkamp. Funeral Information
Visitation: Monday, June 15th from 5 - 7:00 P.M. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Services: Tuesday, June 16th at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home, with Rev. Kevin Strope officiating.
Burial: Moore Cemetery in rural Carlinville. Donations Information
