Hayden B. Kessinger

Hayden B. Kessinger, age 86 of Carlinville passed away, Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Carlinville Area Hospital. Hayden was born December 30, 1922 in Carlinville, son of Elmer and Mary Ima (Brown) Kessinger. Hayden married Betty Hammann, April 28, 1946 in Carlinville, IL.

Hayden loved the outdoors and spent most of his life as a grain and livestock farmer, and relaxing by fishing, gardening and hunting. Hayden was a member of the Christian Church of Litchfield and was active in many of the church activities. He was a graduate of Girard High School, class of 1940.

Daughters: Carolyn Pickett, husband James of Gillespie, IL

Linda Kessinger of Carlinville, IL

Grandsons: Matthew Pickett, wife Cori and Michael Pickett

Great Grandson: Caleb Pickett

Sister: Verna Alford of Girard, IL.

Sisters-in-law, Nancy Kessinger of MO and Alice Drury of Carlinville, IL. Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held, Sunday, January 25, 2009, 2:00 P.M. at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL.

The family will receive guests, Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville, IL. Donations Information
