Obituary of Robyn Rae Baker-Barrett

Robyn Rae Baker- Barrett 60, of Carlinville, passed away on Sunday afternoon, August 11, 2013 in Peoria, Illinois. She was born on March 9, 1953 to Robert G. and Doris (Smithpott) Baker at Alton, Illinois. She graduated from Gillespie High School with the class of 1971. She then graduated from the beauty school in Litchfield. Robyn was the owner and beautician of Classic Tresses in Carlinville. She enjoyed motorcycling riding and her show horses. She had a green thumb which was reflected in her gardens and was known as "the nicest woman that anyone ever met". Robyn is survived by her son - John Michael "Seth" Barrett of Carlinville; mother and father - Doris D. and Gerald Rhodes of Wilsonville; granddaughter - Tourmaline Althea Shae Phoenix; brother - Jeff Rhodes of Bunker Hill; 2 sisters - Debbie Grant and Lisa Pitchford, both of Wilsonville; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Robert G. Baker. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. A Memorial Service will follow directly after visitation at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Donations Information Memorials are suggested to the Family.
