Obituary of JoAnn Karrick

JoAnn Karrick 76 of Carlinville, passed away Monday evening, April 13, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. JoAnn was born July 21, 1938, in Gillespie, IL, a daughter of James and Jennie Scott Farrant. JoAnn graduated from Gillespie High School. She married Daniel Karrick on July 2, 1956, in Gillespie, IL and they spent 62 years together. JoAnn was a great homemaker and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, collecting baby dolls and after her illness she enjoyed keeping up on the news on Facebook. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Danny Lee and Joshua Denverd Karrick, and grandson David Mario Martintoni Jr. JoAnn is survived by her husband, Daniel D. Karrick of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Tammy Jo (Dave) Martintoni of Staunton, IL, son, Kevin Allen Karrick of Gillespie, IL, daughter, Tracy Lynn (Bill) Byars of Gillespie, IL, daughter, Lori Ann Karrick of Hillsboro, IL, son, Nathan Jeffrey Karrick of Gillespie, IL, son, Zeb Daniel Karrick of Carlinville, IL, daughter, Nonie Lynn Karrick of Carlinville, IL, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Friday afternoon, April 17, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00pm and Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. Burial will take place in Moore Cemetery, rural Carlinville.
