Dallas Karrick
73, of Carlinville passed away Friday, August 24, 2012, at his residence in Carlinville, IL.
Dallas was born July 9, 1939, in Carlinville, IL, a son of Richard and Minda (Baker) Karrick.
He married Marita Kincaid on April 12, 1979, in Carlinville.
Dallas was a shuttle car operator for Montery Coal Mine in Carlinville for 18 years. He loved hunting and fishing and working with his hunting dogs. Watching westerns on TV and family cookouts were especially enjoyable to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Minda (Baker) Karrick, brothers, Gary, Michael Karrick and Kenneth Cameron.
He is survived by his wife, Marita, son, Michael Karrick of Carlinville, son, Brian Karrick Upland CA., daughter, Shelly Karrick Hillsboro, son, Kenneth Karrick Ocala FA, daughter, Anna Karrick Ocala, FA, son, Alan King of Carlinville, 6 grandchildren, brother, Daniel ((JoAnn)) Karrick of Carlinville, sister, Deborah Karrick of Carlinville, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Graveside service will be held at 1:15 pm Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Woodman officiating. Donations Information
