Dorothy Kanllakan
92, of Chesterfield passed away Monday afternoon, January 7, 2013, at the Friendship Home in Carlinville.
Dorothy was born October 19, 1920, in Jerseyville, IL, a daughter of William Frederick and Hattie (Decker) Schultz.
Dorothy married Francis "Pete" Kanllakan, July 18, 1942, in Jerseyville, IL and he passed away August 14, 1999.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers; Wilson & Fred Schultz and grandson Gary Daniel Kanllakan in 1974.
Dorothy graduated from Jerseyville Comm. High School. After high school she became a telephone operator and after marriage she enjoyed gardening, sewing and being a homemaker to her family.
Surviving are her daughters, Doris (George) Lacy of Collinsville, and Jean (Russ) Leo of Lawrenceville, son, Dave (Cathy) Kanllakan of Chesterfield, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
Visitation will be Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Keller Cemetery, rural Chesterfield. Donations Information
