Obituary of Irma M Janssen

Irma M. Janssen 75, of Carlinville, passed away Monday evening, September 20, 2010 at Carlinville Rehab Center. She was born Wednesday, May 29, 1935 in Stonington, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Edna (Howard) Clark. Irma retired from Friar Tuck's Resturant at Highway 55 and Rt. 108 after 21 years in food preparation and was a homemaker. She loved to crochet, attend yard sales and was a great cook. She was a member of Ss Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Gillespie. Survivors: sons, Dennis Janssen (Shawn) of Gillespie, IL, Lawrence Janssen (Kris) of Carlinville, IL, Michael Janssen (Patti) of Carlinville, IL, Patrick Janssen of Standard City, IL, daughter, Joyce Hermann (Terry) of Elwood City, PA, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Floyd Clark (Irene) of Nokomis, IL, Joe Clark (Irene), Robert Clark (Millie) of Nokomis, IL, Bernard "Chub" Clark (Millie Lou) of Nokomis, IL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, infant son, Gordon Matthew Janssen, and brother Raymond Clark. Funeral Information Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 22 at Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30P.M., Thursday, September 23, 2010 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis. Burial will be St. Barbara Cemetery in Witt.
