Obituary of Bill Hudson

Bill Hudson 74, of Carlinville, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born Tuesday, December 15, 1936 in Hartford, Illinois, the Son of Chester James and Juanita Lucille (Tucker) Hudson. Bill served his country in the Army. He married Debbie McMillen at the Carlinville Southern Baptist Church on December 30, 1998. Bill was the owner/operator of Bill Hudson Trucking in Carlinville his lifetime. He drove a truck since he was 18 years old. He was a great mechanic and loved woodworking. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and liked to fish when he could find the time. He loved helping people and was known as a "Jack-Of-All-Trades". Survivors: Wife, Debbie Hudson, Daughter, Terrace Kinne of Carlinville, Son, Brad Hudson (wife, Lucy) of Batavia, New York, Son, Cody Hudson of Carlinville, Son, Josh McMillen (wife, Heather) of Carlinville, Daughter, Alice Haworth (husband, Tim) of Virden, Daughter, Patti Raizi of Litchfield, 12 Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Jean Bullman of Mooresville, Indiana, Brother, Donald Hudson (wife, Rachel) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Sister, Barbara Graham (husband, Jack) of Fishers, Indiana, Sister, Orpha Mae Baker of Fishers, Indiana, Brother, Robert James "Jim" Hudson (wife, Sharon) of Wilmington, North Carolina, Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and daughter, Deborah Stallings. Funeral Information Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, July 1 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Graveside Services: 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 2nd at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Carlinville. Pastor Dave Collins will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Stanley Scoggins, Don and Gary Brown, Jerry Rainey, Micky Gwillim, and Gene Goodman. Honorary Pallbearers are Cody Hudson and Terry Newby.
