Obituary of Rosemary Homer

Rosemary Homer 82, of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011, 3:35 P.M. at Carlinville Area Hospital. She was born Saturday, May 26, 1928 in Carlinville, the daughter of Omer and Ellen (Clark) Hagaman. Rosemary married Howard Homer in Carlinville on September 13, 1947 and he passed away October 6, 1996. Rosemary was a homemaker and had been employed with the Carlinville National Bank in the sixties as a teller. Rosemary was an avid dog lover and spent much of her time reading. Survivors: grandson, Ryan Homer of Carlinville, granddaughter, Kimberly Allen (Matthew) of Carlinville, great-granddaughter, Rori Allen of Carlinville, sister, Barbara Jones of Pittsfield, IL, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband and son David C. Homer in 2002 and two brothers.. Funeral Information Per Rosemary's request there will be no public services.
