Opal Hildebrant
98, of Carlinville, passed away Friday evening, March 12, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Opal was born Thursday, March 7, 1912 in Bluffdale, IL, she was one of six children born to Louie and Elizabeth (Willis) Carter.
She married Lester Noel Hildebrant in Warrenton, MO on May 17, 1932.
Opal was a homemaker and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carlinville. For a short period of time Opal was a school teacher. She enjoyed all her grandchildren from the oldest to the youngest great great grandchild.
Survivors are Daughter, Helen McDonnough of Springfield, IL, 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter Mary Elizabeth Belcher, 4 brothers and a sister. Funeral Information
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 A.M, Monday, March 15 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Funeral Services will be held after visitation at 11:00 A.M..
Burial will be next to her husband in Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Donations Information
