Dick "Shooter" Green
68, of Girard, died Saturday evening, July 24, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Friday, December 19, 1941 in Springfield, IL, the Son of Harry M. and Margaretta (Nicholas) Green.
He married Janice L. Green in Springfield, IL on June 24, 1961.
Dick was a over the road truck driver for 30 years. He retired from Mid America Trucking several years ago.
Dick was an avid hunter and fisherman which lends credit to his nick name.
Survivors: Wife, Jan of Girard, IL, Daughter, Lisa Curtis (David) of Springfield, IL, Daughter, LaDonna Watret (Roger) of Girard, IL, Son, Rick Green (Companion Tiffany Frakes) of Palmyra, IL, Son, Todd Green (Tew) of Girard, IL, 11 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Melvin Green (Freida) of Springfield, IL, Sister, Deborah Beaudoin (Art) of Palmyra, WI, Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents and brother Bud Green. Funeral Information
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL.
Funeral services will take place, 10:00 A.M. July 29, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Girard Cemetery at a later date. Donations Information
