Obituary of Hilma R. Granger

Hilma R. Granger Hilma Rose Granger, 92, of Carlinville, formerly of Mt. Clare, Illinois, died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Carlinville Rehab Center. She was born June 5, 1916 in Carlinville, the Daughter of the late William F. Timinsky and the late Sarah "Sadie" Bell. Hilma was a 1934 graduate of Carlinville High School. She married Clarence I. Granger in Carlinville on November 6, 1935. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1995. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was an artist who loved painting and photography. She also loved flower gardening. Survivors: Daughter, JoAnn Twyman (Bob) of Carlinville, 3 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandson, Several Nieces and Nephews. Also surviving is a four-legged granddaughter named Penny Sue. Hilma is preceded by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Information Visitation: 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, October 12 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Services: 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 13, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church in Carlinville. Private Family burial will be at a later date.
