Obituary of Richard Eugene Goodman

Richard E. "Rick" Goodman 50, of Carlinville,died Wednesday evening, May 6, 2009 at his residence. Rick was born Friday, August 1, 1958 in Carlinville, IL, the son of Franklin Eugene Goodman and Janice Lee McCawley. He married Debra A. (Waskow) in Carlinville, IL on June 16, 1979. Rick started his work career at Ketrings in 1976. The company later became PMW of Illinois and he continued on as an engineer until 2003 when the company closed its Carlinville branch. In 2004 Rick started with Prairie Farms Dairy in the plant. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church as well as Carlinville Elk's Lodge #1412 and the Elk's Bowling League. Rick loved to bowl, golf, coach his daughters sports teams and was a true St. Louis Cardinal Fan. Funeral Information .Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00P.M., Friday, May 8 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes in Carlinville, IL. Elk's Ritual at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held, 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 9, 2009 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Carlinville with the Rev. John Battmann officiating. Eldon Wold and Dan St. Onge will provide the music for the service. Burial will be in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville. Pallbearers: Ryan, Jason, Randy, and Ben Goodman, Dwight & Dusten Behme, Aaron Waskow and Brad Suhling.
