Dick Fickas 52, of Girard passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Dick was born April 6, 1960 in Springfield, IL a son of Elmer R. and Blanche (Hamrick) Fickas. Dick was preceded in death by his father. Dick graduated from Girard High School, class of 1979 and worked as a production manager for the R & R Bindery for over 15 years. He enjoyed golf, sports, was a loyal Cub fan and loved his children. Surviving are his mother, Blanche Fickas of Girard, children Rachael and James Fickas at home, brothers; Elmer R. (Cheryl) Fickas of Kingman, AZ, Edward E. (Bonnie) Fickas Tucson, AZ, Frederick W. (Gayle) Fickas of Girard, George E. (Gail) Fickas of Huntley, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends may call Thursday, January 03, 2013 5:00 to 7:00 pm at First Christian Church, Girard. Funeral services will be held,10:00 am Friday, January 4, 2013 at First Christian Church with Rev. Rich McElfresh officiating. Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
