Kitty Dirksmeyer
Catherine J. "Kitty" Dirksmeyer, 78, of Carlinville, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Heritage Manor in Carlinville.
She was born Saturday, November 15, 1930 in Kampsville, IL, the Daughter of Lawrence and Flossie (Foiles) Schumann.
She married Edward C. Dirksmeyer in Kampsville, IL on June 30, 1951. He passed away August 30, 2006.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Carlinville. Kitty collected porcelain shoes and loved to work crossword puzzles.
Survivors: Daughter, Barbara Thomas (Mark) of Chesterfield, IL, Grandchildren, Christopher and Nicole Thomas, Aunt, Millie Wirth, and three Nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Summit Grove Cemetery, in Kampsville, IL. Donations Information
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
