Obituary of Steven Keith Allen

Steve Allen 59 of Atwater, IL, passed away, Wednesday afternoon, April 1, 2015 at his sisters residence in Girard. Steven was born December 27, 1955, in Springfield, IL, a son of Russell and Judith Traylor Allen. Steven graduated from Girard High School with the class of 1974. He married Judy Patton July 9, 2004, in Carlinville, IL. He worked as a mechanic in the Auburn and Girard area. His last place of employment was at Girard Auto Sales. Steven was a member of the First Christian Church in Girard and also a member of the Iron Sleds in Nilwood, IL. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, NASCAR, and working on cars and motorcycles. Steven was preceded in death by his father Russell Allen. Steven is survived by his wife, Judy L. Allen of Atwater, IL, mother, Judith Allen of Girard, IL, son, Brock Allen of Virden, IL, daughter, Jami (Aaron) Riester of Virden, IL, son, Travis Allen of Girard, IL, son, Clayton Allen of Girard, IL, daughter, Grace Allen of Girard, IL, son, Joel Allen of Girard, IL, 5 grandchildren, sister, Stacy (Steve) Wilkin of Girard, IL, sister, Stephanie (John) Saboor of Orlando, FL, 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 9:00am to Noon at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard where funeral services will be held at Noon at the funeral home. Marty Nagel will be officiate the service. Burial will follow in Sulpher Springs Cemetery, rural Atwater.
