deepest sympathies to cordes family. may faith and gods love help you thru this time of sadness.
Dottie and family. We are so sorry for your loss .Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort you all..
Leo "Buckshot" Cordes, a classmate of mine, lived a block and a half away from my childhood home in Windsor IL. Often he and his brother Marion came over to play dare-base or kick-the-can. Leo often acted as captain in a quiet, unassuming way.
In school, he was a steady, quiet, presence, never plying for attention, but usually ready to join in.
Dorothy, my sympathy to you and to yours and Leo's son and daughter. May you honor the best you saw in this quiet but solid man.
You and your family are in our prayers. God bless everyone at this difficult.
Dottie, Rick and Lynn, So sorry we are unable to be with you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Leo was a wonderful person and he will be sadly missed. Love, Dorothy and David

Mr. Cordes was my math teacher in high school. He was such a kind, nice man and I enjoyed being in his class. Our family also went to church with the Cordes family and they are fondly remembered. Sincere sympathy to his loved ones on their loss; he will be greatly missed.
