Obituary of Gerald Alvin Conner

Gerald Alvin "Jerry" Conner Gerald Alvin "Jerry" Conner, 69, of Chesterfield, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Carlinville Area Hospital. He was born Thursday, March 6, 1941 in Summerville Illinois, the Son of Orval and Viola (Walden) Conner. He married Frieda Wallis in Carlinville, Illinois on November 26, 1985. Gerald was a Machinist for Schien Body and Equipment for several years. He also enjoyed woodworking, making crafts and loved fishing. Surviving are his Sons : Kelly Conner of Chesterfield, IL, Paul Conner of Chesterfield, IL, Jerry Conner of Benld, IL, and Caleb (Teri) Conner of Trenton, IL, Daughter, Jessica Conner of California, Step-Sons : Larry (Betty) Jackson of Benld, IL, Clarence Baker of Indiana, Rick (Brenda) Hamm of Litchfield, IL, Robert (Loretta) Hamm of Austin, TX, Roger Hamm of Missouri, Delbert (Ann) Hamm of Maroa, IL, David (Angie) Hamm of Blue Mound, IL, Doug (Fiancee:Tonya Dugan) Hamm of Chesterfield, IL, Brother: Orval (Cheryl) Conner of Florida, Sister: Pat Cameron of Carlinville, IL, Twenty Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, three sisters, two brothers, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. Funeral Information Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Davis Anderson Funeral Home in Chesterfield, Illinois. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Chesterfield, Illinois. Burial will be in Chesterfield Cemetery.
