Grady Scott Abbott, age six months of Palmyra, was given his angel wings Sunday morning, April 10, 2016, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Grady was born September 29, 2015, in Springfield, IL, a son of Timothy Scott Abbott and Tonya Lynn (Thursby) Gibbs. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Wednesday,April 13, 2016 at Cross Church, Carlinville. Burial will follow in Gilead Cemetery, Hettick, IL. Grady is survived by his parents, Tonya Lynn Gibbs of Palmyra, IL; father, Timothy Scott Abbott of Palmyra, IL; brothers, Austin Abbott and Griffin Gibbs; sisters, Graylyn Gibbs and Sophia Abbott; grandparents, Mark and Donna Thursby of Palmyra, IL; Lisa and Marty Mau of Springfield, IL, and Christine and Robert Mahan of Franklin, IL; great-grandmother, Judy DeMunbrun; great-grandparents, Howard and Grace Thursby of Palmyra, IL and Mary and Ed Abbott of Chesterfield, IL, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
