Terry Edward Abner, age 71 of Nilwood, IL passed away Tuesday morning, December 29, 2015, at Carlinville Area Hospital.
Terry was born February 5, 1944, in Alton, IL.
He married Sharon (Stoddard) March 3, 1968, in Alton, Il and they raised two sons who survive.
Terry worked for BAB Grain in Auburn, Il for 23 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, golf, traveling and spending time with his family.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Abner and mother Leona (Northcutt) Abner.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Terry is survived by his wife, Sharon Abner of Nilwood, IL, son, Gregg Abner of Nashville, TN, son, Keith Abner of Virden, IL, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Elizabeth (Larry) Oros of Applevalley, CA.
