Larry W. "Cowboy" Harris, 57, of Carlinville, passed away Saturday evening, December 26, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Larry was born on December 26, 1958 to Phoebe Harris in Jasper, TX. He graduated from Jasper High School. Larry worked as a Truck Driver. On February 23, 2001 he married Sharon Williams in Jasper, TX. Larry and Sharon lived in Carlinville. He liked relaxing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching television. Larry is survived by his wife Sharon, three step-daughters, Jennifer (Gary) Slater of Orlando, FL, Cassaundra Sphar of Taylorville, IL, and Karen Williams of Carlinville, IL; step-son, Kyle (Kelsey) Michael of Eau Claire, WI; 4 grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Harris of AL and Daryll Harris of TX; three sisters, Emily Morris of TX, Evon Harris of AL, and Rose Harris of TX; several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by mother, Phoebe Harris; sister, Linda Merrick; step-son, Thomas Brown. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Harris Family. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be given at www.davisandersonfuneralhome.com.
