Obituary of Herbert J. Seaton

Herbert J. Seaton 73, of Waggoner, passed away on Wednesday morning on July 30, 2014 at Saint Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. Herbert was born on July 26, 1941 to Loran and Anita (Stewart) Seaton in Atwater, IL. Herbert married Stacia Anderson on March 17, 1962 in Litchfield, IL and she later passed away in 2012. Herbert owned and operated a roofing business, Seaton's Roofing, and retired in 2002. Herbert could fix anything and was known as the "Fix It Man" in Waggoner. Herbert is survived by his daughter, Connie Haslett of Waggoner, IL; son, Ron (Judy) Seaton; three sisters, Pearl (Harold) Huston of Girard, IL, Pauline Caudle of Carlinville, IL and Virginia Wallace of Litchfield, IL; two brothers, William Seaton of Greenfield, IL and Robert (Sharon) Seaton of Atwater, IL; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Hebert was preceded in death by his wife, Stacia; son, Glenn Seaton; a brother, Wayne Seaton; and his parents. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Friday, August 01, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at the First Baptist Church in Litchfield, IL Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Litchfield, IL, with Reverend Tim Schrader officiating. Burial will take place in the Raymond City Cemetery. Donations Information Memorials are suggested to the Herbert Seaton Memorial Fund.
