Obituary of Patsy E. Molohon

Patsy E. Molohon Patsy E. Molohon, 59 of Girard, passed away Monday morning, September 8, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard, IL. Patsy was born on November 16, 1954 to Edmond Junior and Mildred (Moses) Emery in Sikeston, MO. She married Joseph Molohon on February 4, 1976 in Carlinville and he survives. Patsy was a homemaker and a waitress for Topps Big Boy in Springfield, Ron's Red Bird Cafe in Girard and the Truckers Homestead in Auburn. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Carlinville and enjoyed playing bingo, dancing and singing. Patsy is survived by her husband Joseph Molohon; mother, Mildren Emery Sargent of Girard; three daughters, Brandy (Daniel) Tucker of New Douglas, IL, Hope Hampton of Girard and Patricia (Robert) Fugate of Auburn; three sons, Joseph J. Molohon of NY, Christopher Molohon of Girard and Jefferey (Tara) Molohon of Nokomis; 22 grandchildren; three brothers, Steve (Belinda) Emery of Auburn, Eddie Emery of Virden and Tony (Michelle) Emery of Girard; four sisters, Linda (Roger) Gunn of Girard, Karen (Michael) Pepper of Virden, Jo Ella Emery of Girard and Donna (Gary) Taylor of Girard, as well as several nieces and nephews. Patsy was preceded in death by her father, Edmond Junior Emery. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 10:00 am to noon at Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes in Girard, IL. Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Palmyra, IL at approximately 12:30 pm with Rev. Don Harrison officiating.
