Obituary of Maxine Miller

Maxine Miller age 76, of Chesterfield passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 5, 2014, at her residence in Chesterfield, IL. Maxine was born May 8, 1938, in Carlinville, IL, a daughter of Albert and Helen Coonrod Hacke. She married Francis "Frank" C. Miller on July 7, 1956, in Carlinville at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Maxine graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1956. Mrs. Miller worked for the Carlinville National Bank as a teller for 28 years and retired in 1999. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, mushrooming and working in her yard in the flower beds. Deceased family members include her parents, sister, Melba Trakinat and brother Lindell Hacke. Surviving are her husband, Frank C. Miller of Chesterfield, IL, daughters, Cheryl (Gary) Titsworth, Shelly (Albert) Mize and Andrea (Charles) Dowing, sons, Randy (Lisa) Miller and Rick Miller all of Chesterfield, IL, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Carlinville United Methodist Church where Memorial Services will be conducted at 5:00 pm with Rev. Robert Taylor officiating. Donations Information Memorials may be made in Maxine's memory to Carlinville United Methodist Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital.
