Carline Eades Obituary

Edna "Carline" Eades, 96 of Carlinville, IL, passed away on Thursday morning, March 12, 2026, at Lakeside Health Care in Carlinville, IL.


Carline was born April 14, 1929, in Modesto, IL, a daughter of Carl Turner and Edna (Hampton) Turner. She graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1946. She married Leroy Dean Eades on September 30, 1948, at Emmanuel Baptist Church.


Carline was a loving and caring woman who always wanted the best for her family, leading her to stay at home and be a homemaker which she enjoyed. Her life was with her family and that included farming with her husband. Carline cared for those not even a part of her family as the secretary for the Sunday school, sharing the joy she found in Jesus with many children. Carline couldn't stay busy all the time and enjoyed crocheting and watching the "Walton's" and "Gun Smoke" in her free time.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, 9:00 to 11:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL.


A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville.


Private burial will take place at a later date in Land Cemetery, Palmyra, IL.


Carline is survived by her two sons, Larry (Judy) Eades of Hettick, IL and Melvin (Linda) Eades of Hettick, IL; grandchildren, Lucas (Brandi) Eades, Ethan (Audra) Eades, Chad (Teresa) Eades, Clint (Nicole) Eades, Cory Eades, Chris (Michelle) Eades, Katie (David) Cressy, Chaunda (Jason) LeMarr; great-grandchildren, Brenden Eades, Landon Eades, Rhett LeMarr, Daggar Eades, Jackson Cressy, Bryson Briggs, Logan Debatin, McClyna Eades, Grace LeMarr, Tian Eades, Berlynn Eades, Hagan Eades, Gracin Thacker, and Olianna Briggs; great-great-grandchildren, Theodore Eades, Lincoln Eades, Kayleigh Eades; brother, Wendell (Mary Jo) Turner of Brunswick, MO; sister, Janet Summers of Columbia, IL; several nieces and nephews.


Carline was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, Jason Eades, great- grandson Remmington Steven Eades, and sister, Alberta Thorpe.


Memorials may be made to Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.
