I only knew Holly for a short time, but she was hugely inspirational to me. She was an amazing teacher, person, mentor and friend.

We were so sorry to hear of Holly’s passing. She was one very talented lady and gave so much to our children and our community. Sending our sympathy and prayers for peace.

I did my first show at carlinville high School in 1991. The artwork for the show was always over the top with her direction, the students and her creative masterpieces. It's a sad day in my life. I'm going to miss her terribly

My deepest sympathies are with all who loved Holly.

I remember when the Bloomers moved to town to join the law firm, and how much my parents loved Holly from day one. Mom was always so impressed with her hand drawn Christmas cards that she saved them and pulled them out every year as part of her Christmas decorations.

My kids knew her in a different way, as their art teacher, and she held a special place as a favorite, fun person in their high school lives.

As a neighbor, we could always count on her annual Halloween decor, with the poorly coordinated witch.

I'm happy she and Paul moved to Carlinville, and that she was a thread running through our family's lives. May every memory of her bring peace and comfort to all who will miss her.
