Robert Michael Ricky Henson, 63, of Carlinville, IL, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, December 16, 2025, at his home in Carlinville, IL.

Michael was born September 11, 1962, in Metropolis, IL, a son of Everett Ray and Glenna (Morris) Henson. He married Jenny Perkins on October 20, 2001, at Lake Glendale, IL.

He was a coal miner for most of his life, then he operated a floor tile business. He loved going to auctions and collecting things, especially cast iron.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Everett Ray Henson, and sister, Evelyn Skamser.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Michael is survived by his wife, Jenny Henson of Carlinville, IL, mother, Glenna Henson of Vienna, IL, son, Brockton L. Henson of Carlinville, IL, bonus kid, Curtis T. Lack of Carlinville, IL, five sisters; Gayle (Billy) Ethridge of Pope County, IL, Debbie (Mike) Yates of Brookport, IL, Vickie Bates of Vienna, IL, Joan Johnson of Vienna, IL, and Caitlyn (Manila) Launiu of Vienna, IL, Lifetime Brother, Rusty Kerley of Ozark, IL and many nieces and nephews.
