John P. Trojcak Jr., 93, of Girard, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Carlinville Area Hospital in Carlinville, IL.

John was born July 2, 1932, in Taylorville, IL, a son of John Paul and Mary (Little John) Trojcak, Sr. John graduated from Girard High School with the class of 1950, then attended Black burn college. He married Nancy, on July 6, 1953, at Christian Church Parsonage in Girard, IL.

John was a farmer for his whole life, most of his work was done on the family farm in the Girard area. He was a member of the Macoupin County Farm Bureau and the Farmers and Merchants Bank Board. He enjoyed many things in life like farming, reading, mowing his yard, bowling, and having lunch with the guys every Thursday. The thing he loved the most was being with his family and spending time with Nancy.

John was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and son, John C. Trojcak.

A private celebration of life for both John and Nancy will be held at a later date.

Burial will follow in Girard Cemetery, Girard.

John is survived by his son, Scott (Kris) Trojcak of Girard, IL, son, Jay (Justina) Trojcak of Litchfield, IL, grandson, Josh (Alexa) Trojcak, granddaughter, Staci (Jon) Hays, granddaughter, Carson (Izik) SanMiguel, granddaughter, Kacy (Chance Olson) Trojcak, granddaughter, Courtney (Amanda) Pingleton, granddaughter, Kira (Companion Blake) Trojcak, grandson, Bryce (Brooke) Trojcak, seven great grandchildren, Colson, Brooklyn, Scarlett, Jaxon, Kaelyn, Tori, and Summit.
