Sharon Louise Campbell, 89, of Carlinville, IL, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at Hallmark Health Care in Carlinville, IL, where she had been a resident.

Sharon was born April 24, 1936, in Raymond, IL, a daughter of Harold "Pete" and Mildred Engleman Daggett. Sharon graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1953, shortly after her 17th birthday. She attended college at Hannibal LaGrange College and then went on to William Jewell Liberal Arts College, in Liberty, MO., obtaining her Bachelors Degree. She began working with the Chicago FBI for a few years and received an accommodation from J. Edgar Hoover in August 5, 1954. She then worked for the State of Illinois Department of Human Services in the Carlinville office. She would retire from there in the late '90s.

Sharon was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and she loved to play the piano.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, son; John Campbell, daughters: Rachel and Linda Campbell, and sister; Maryilyn Barnes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, 10:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, IL.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville.

Burial will follow in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Litchfield, IL.

Sharon is survived by her daughter; Ruth Kendall of Carlinville, IL, granddaughter; Wynona Kendall, grandson; Justus (Kim) Kendall, great-grandchildren; Ava, Harlow, Koa, and Caspian, brother; Jon (Sue) Daggett of Atwater, IL, brother; Kenny Daggett of Carlinville, IL, sister; Susie Lott of Carlinville, IL, and, several nieces and nephews.
