Ronold J. Devereux, 85 of Carlinville, IL, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 27, 2025, at Carlinville Rehab & Health Care in Carlinville, IL.

Ronold was born July 30, 1939, in Saint Louis, MO, a son of Richard and Beatrice (Glass) Devereux. He married Jacquline Nelson, she later passed away on December 2, 2016.

Ronold was the owner of Devereux Motors in St. Louis, MO until he retired in 1994. He was a talented mechanic who enjoyed working with his hands. He also enjoyed the outdoors especially activities like fishing, camping, and hunting.

Ronold was preceded in death by his wife, and parents.

There will be no services at this time.

Ronold is survived by his son, Ronald James Devereux of St. Louis, MO, daughter, Kristine (Michael) Campbell of Carlinville, IL, five grandchildren; Nikolas, Erika, Ashley, Thomas, and Tyler, seven great-grandchildren, Eli, Emma, Ava, Jackson, Greyson, Julian, and Michael.
