Shirley J. Wonaroski, 89, of Girard, IL, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.

Shirley was born January 12, 1936, at home in Girard, IL, a daughter of Harry and Lenora Higbee Lancaster. Shirley attended Girard High School. She married Raymond "Ray" Wonaroski on December 30, 1954, at St. Patrick's, Catholic Church, Girard, IL.

Shirley was a business owner along with her husband of Wojno Resources in Girard, IL. She devoted her time to her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, great granddaughter, and three sisters.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Raymond "Ray" A. Wonaroski of Girard, IL, daughter, Brenda (Joe) Millikin of Litchfield, IL, daughter, Jennifer (James) Wonaroski Dye of Rockford, IL, son, Jeff Wonaroski of Girard, IL, grandchildren; Zachary Wonaroski, Andrew Kelley, Jessica Hamilton, Jordan Andrew, and six great-grandchildren.

Services will held at a later date.

Burial will follow in Girard Cemetery, Girard.
