Condolences
I will miss my cousin Brad. From the cross-country road trips our family made from Southern California to Pekin, Illinois, my memories of Brad are of a fun loving kid who grew to be an accomplished, intelligent man whose abiding trait was his kindness and laughter. We all will miss Brad.
Praying for you all and Brad's soul. I’m grateful to have known him and his smile through the Doug & Mo Roth family. Take care in prayer!
I am very sorry for your loss. Although I had not seen Brad and Kris since ISU days, I remember quite fondly the time we spent together during those golden years. Brad and I would share rides back and forth to Pekin and Peoria together. It is no surprise to me that your relationship stood the test of time because you seemed so right together all those years ago. May his memory be a blessing. He was a good friend.

My first memory of Brad was when I had to register Mary at CHS. He was such a wonderful ambassador for the community. He got Mary all registered and we left there with a very good expectation of the future. I loved teaching with Kris.

Of all my memories of my cousin, the most precious would be my last one when Brad shared with sincere humility his joy and honor at being able to preach a sermon at his church. It sounded very good and we had a great conversation. We both agreed his parents and our grandparents would be so proud. I never felt closer to him than us sharing our love for our families and God. And now he’s with them all. Hallelujah! With hearts full of love, Cindy and Allan Hase
What a great loss to his family and the community. My deepest sympathies to all.
Find peace in your happy memories with Brad.
We will always remember Brad’s sense of humor, love of games, being a fishing buddy and euchre games. Kirk will miss his phone calls to connect and banter.
Q: What will you never forget about Bradley?
A: I was the first girl on my mom's side to graduate high school. That was monumental in itself to me and my family. I had no idea or had even really thought about what was after graduation. I didn't understand much until I sat down with Mr. Lohnes. He couldn't believe that I had no plan of action for my future when we first met and couldn't hide his disdain that I was clueless. Until I explained that I was rewriting history of the women in my family and didn't really know what to do next. He totally changed his tone and demonstrated what a guidance counselor really does. I will never forget his elation when he saw the light in my eyes turn on when I understood that even though I was a poor farm girl, there were programs that could help me go to college. I will never forget Mr. Lohnes opening the door of opportunity for me, giving me the knowledge and the tools that I needed to continue on my quest to break the chains that bound the women in my family.
He was a true guidance counselor who had a profound impact in my life. RIP Mr. Lohnes and thank you.
I worked with Brad at Legal Files. He was a friendly and generous colleague. I'm so sorry for your loss.
